Refund Policy
When you can get your money back, and how. Aligned with our Stripe billing configuration.

We want you to use Wispu because it makes your work better, not because you’re trapped by the bill. This page describes the refund cases we honour, the timelines, and how to request one. It sits alongside the cancellation rules in our Terms of Service.
1. Cancel anytime
Every subscription can be cancelled from your billing settings or by emailing team@wispu.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then, and you are not billed again. Cancelling is not the same as a refund; if you also want a refund of the current period, see Section 2.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
First-time monthly subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days of the first charge, no questions asked. We process the refund through Stripe to the original payment method. A few caveats:
- Applies once per customer (you can’t cancel + re-subscribe to re-trigger it).
- The 14-day window starts on the first paid charge, not on account creation.
- If you signed up during a free trial or with a launch promo, the window starts on the first charge after the trial ends.
3. Annual plans: 30-day pro-rated window
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund within 30 days of the charge:
- We refund the unused portion of the annual fee, calculated by remaining days in the term.
- Any add-ons purchased on top of the annual plan are refunded on the same pro-rated basis.
After the 30-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law (see Section 6).
4. Add-ons and one-time charges
- Recurring add-ons (extra users, extra brands): refund rules follow the underlying subscription (Section 2 or 3).
- Extra credit packs are one-time purchases. Unused credits within a pack are refundable for 7 days from purchase. Consumedcredits (already used to generate content) are not refundable. They represent real inference costs we’ve already paid to AI providers.
5. What we don’t refund
- Consumed AI credits: see Section 4.
- Card-network fees, taxes, and currency-conversion losses where the issuing bank, card network, or tax authority retains part of the original charge. Stripe refunds the principal; we can’t recover those external costs.
- Subscriptions cancelled for breach of our Terms of Service (e.g., abuse, fraud, prohibited content) are not refunded.
6. How to request a refund
- Email team@wispu.app with the subject line Refund request: [your account email].
- Include the date of the charge and a one-line note. You don’t owe us a reason for the 14-day money-back case.
- We confirm within 2 business days and process the refund through Stripe. The funds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank and card network. Stripe’s standard timing applies.
7. Disputes and chargebacks
Before opening a chargeback with your card issuer, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve refund cases faster than a chargeback. If a chargeback is opened, we’ll respond to the card network with the relevant invoice, terms, and usage logs. A chargeback that goes against us may also result in suspension of the account pending resolution.
8. Mandatory local consumer protections
Nothing in this policy limits the statutory rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction. If you live in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have a 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Rights Directive. Section 2 of this policy meets or exceeds it. Brazil (CDC), California (Auto-Renewal Law), Australia (ACL), and similar regimes are honoured the same way: where local law gives you a stronger right, local law applies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our pricing, Stripe configuration, or legal obligations. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply prospectively; the policy in effect at the time of your charge is the one that governs that charge.
